So we decided it was time to take another trip. The general lull in the sports landscape this time of year made baseball spring training an attractive choice. It sure will be nice to get away for a few days from this:
The plan is to catch March baseball action in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Dunedin. On Sunday, we'll head down to St. Pete to Al Lang Field to see the Rays and Jays play.
Monday morning, we'll go to BrightHouse Networks Field and the Carpenter Complex to watch the Phillies train less than a mile from our hotel!
After that, we'll head to Knology Park, home of the Dunedin Blue Jays for an Exhibition Game between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Hopefully all goes well. The forecast as of Wednesday is 63 and 67 but sunny for those two days. I wonder if that's 'unseasonably cool?'
